Just a little inspiration before a yummy recipe. With Fall weather finally upon us here in MS, I have been wanting to bake every pumpkin/cinnamon/cream cheese/spice flavored thing I can find on pinterest. Here is a super simple, yet incredibly tasty, treat I discovered and made for a recent Sunday School Class snack.
Ingredients:
Canned Pure Pumpkin (1 can should be plenty)
Cinnamon
Pillsbury Crescents
1 bag of marshmallows
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to the temperature called for on the crescents (usually 350-375)
Take out your crescent dough and lay out one crescent triangle. Spoon a little scoop of canned pumpkin on to the large end of the cresecent dough and top with a marshmallow. Just a tip, I used giant marshmallows the first time and they were difficult to roll the dough around. I would recommend smaller ones.
Now just sprinkle a little cinnamon on the inside of the roll and roll it up. Add some more cinnamon on top if you want and stick them in the oven and follow the baking instructions for the crescents. They may need to bake just a tad longer.
These were soooooo yummy! I got tons of complements and they were so simple.
I hope you enjoy!!
